Healthy Lemon-Lavender Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp Magnolia-Star Lemon Extract
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers (culinary-grade)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
  1. In a blender, add the almond milk, ripe banana, lemon juice, lemon extract, dried lavender flowers, and honey or maple syrup if desired.
  2. Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the smoothie becomes thick and frothy.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or tartness according to your preference. If you want it sweeter, add more honey or maple syrup. If you prefer it more tart, add a bit more lemon juice.
  5. Once you reach your desired taste and consistency, pour the smoothie into a glass.
  6. If desired, garnish the smoothie with a sprinkle of dried lavender flowers or a slice of lemon.
  7. Serve the Lemon Lavender Smoothie immediately and enjoy!

Note: If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can chill the almond milk and banana in the refrigerator before blending. You can also freeze the banana in advance and omit the ice cubes for a creamier texture.
