Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter for the crust. Mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until it's lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt for the lemon filling.
  6. Add the eggs, lemon juice, lemon extract, and lemon zest to the dry ingredients. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
  7. Pour the lemon filling over the baked crust, spreading it out evenly.
  8. Place the pan back into the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

  11. Slice the Lemon Bars into squares or rectangles.
  12. Serve and enjoy these delightful Lemon Bars!
